While not on the Master Plan, when boosters show up with cash, things get built....
Construction to Begin on Donor Funded Golf Practice Facility
DENTON -- The Mean Green men and women's golf team will have a new on-campus practice facility, as construction is set to begin in the next few weeks, Vice President and Director of Athletics Wren Baker announced today.
The project, which will cover 16.5 acres on the east side of the former Eagle Point Golf Course, pays homage to the historically successful UNT golf programs. It will include a 5,000 square-foot building housing coaches' offices, men and women's locker rooms, virtual putting green, a study area, nutrition station and a student-athlete lounge. The exterior will feature two hitting bays with the latest TrackMan technology, a driving range, putting green, and a chipping area.
"The construction of a state-of-the-art practice facility has been a dream we've been working on for several years at North Texas and I'm grateful for the support of Bruzzy Westheimer and other key donors who've made the dream a reality for student-athletes," Baker said. "For our student-athletes to have an on-campus facility and not have to travel daily for practice will be a tremendous advantage for us. This is truly a tremendous investment in the future of both our men and women's golf programs and our mission to build champions and prepare leaders."
Not part of the Master Plan, but when boosters show up with cash things get built...
Cost estimated at: $3 Million

Again, not part of the Master Plan, but UNT's Lovelace Stadium is also getting additions and renovations. Here is a photo of the new hitting facility and bullpen. A new field, and outfield wall are also in the works.
Cost: $???

You will keep waiting.
I like the indoor football practice facility. Y'all should drop soccer and/or track and get a baseball team started.
Baseball is in the Master Plan, but still a few projects away. The ballpark will be located behind the IPF.
We won't be looking to add it until after we finish the athletic center expansion/renovation, build the new tailgate park, and build the new basketball arena.

Odd roof line. Amateur engineering. Looks like one/horse’s end of the football stadium. Probably the end with all the empty seats. Avg of 23K doesn’t fill the stadium.

Nowhere in this thread are we even discussing football. But whatever. I guess you are my personal troll.

What baseball stadium? I think that deal was torn up when Tulane and Tulsa left CUSA. Original agreement when we joined......and "promised adding baseball".
