If a school like NIU has to cancel fall sports, how could current transfer for sitting out a year if no sports

I'm originally from Wisconsin. Can I transfer my fandom to Wisconsin-Milwaukee? I have no connection to them and all the fans I know are NIU fans and I know nothing about Milwaukee but my fandom might work out better there so maybe I'll give that a shot for a year, as long as I don't have to sit out a year.

Heflin, Brinkman, and Perez all live together. Obviously they must have all been discussing this together. Wonder if it has anything to do with it. Definitely a coincidence they all announced the exact same day

I haven't seen any comments on this.

But there is more than meets the eye here as to the 3 amigos. As stated, not a coincidence.

I wish all three of them the best, they each had good moments at NIU. Heflin was a beast. I sure hope they aren't making such big, important decisions based on what their roommates are doing, that'd be a young, scary thing to do.

So many reasons to potentially transfer, very hard for any of us to understand went into it.

Throw in Harbs, and Mckie transfering...Childers electing not to return...we had 6 starters ( almost 30 percent of the team) opt out, on the program that used to be the standard of MAC Football

Yes, you may transfer your fandom to Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Great city and a fine school. And I can assure you this: They will NOT run out of hot dogs (or bratwurst) In Milwaukee! Plus, the beer will be fresh.

Didn't know you were a NW grad. Glad to have had someone of your academic prestige amongst us 25 ACT scores.

Yes, graduate of NU and then went to NIU for grad school. I came to NIU solely because of the Grotto in DeKalb. Evanston, the birthplace of the WCTU, would not allow me to open a porn shop, so I had no outlet to release my pent up sexual energy for four years. Once I got to DeKalb and experienced the catharsis afforded me by the Grotto, I opened up, had an explosive release, and became the fine gentleman that I am today. Between my sessions at the Grotto, I enjoyed going to school at NIU.

What disappoints me the most is that these guys were supposed to be some of the leaders this season. Transfers like this leave a huge void. Can’t imagine they would rather be a newcomer than the team captain or leader. I wish them the best because they were all good student athletes. Good families and parents would travel to games as well. This isn’t good for college football in the long run but I respect their right to go where they want.

Absolutely you can. And truth be told, this NIU alum wishes his daughter has chose UW-Milwaukee. Good school, close enuf but still away, it had the programs she wanted and an urban setting. And the price was sooo much better than where she ended up (private). I like that place and school.

Was walking around downtown Milwaukee after a few Brewers games last summer, it was pretty crowded with alot of 20-30 year olds. Man, me and my crew felt old....

Shocking, to learn this. He saw first hand how incompetent, and unsuccessful Coach Carey and his staff were...and he jumps ship to return to coach Carey...at a program of Temple's caliber rather then stay here in Dekalb..quite siprising..wonder what movie he was watching...huh

Just want to be sure we are all jumping in on your personal agenda AGAIN....jb.....and making sure that this is the Temple program that regressed two games in conference play this past season (same as NIU) and lost their bowl game by SIX touchdowns. There are many ways to skin a cat. Enjoy your agenda now, because I’m pretty comfortable I know where Temple will be in another year or so when Matt Ruhle’s recruit and influence are gone. Always good see you cherry picking. Enjoy one more season and then welcome yourself to good old average football.

I'll be brutal honest, I sometimes get a bad vibe from Hammock. He deserves 2 more years to prove it, not sold on it anymore though. We will see.
