Given the current states of budget I would just go on the working assumption you will never get money back.

There is NO way NIU will take season ticket money and not refund or roll over your $ into next year if season cancelled. Come on guys, how about a little trust in your university. I cant believe this is even a discussion point, NIU will do what is right on this and they always will. I have two kids at NIU right now and the university has been incredibly organized and great about refunds ect for a semester that got cut short. Enough of this crazy, negative BS narrative.

I renewed my season tickets PLUS the SeatGeek game. If the season is a go, I'm not sure if I even will go to any of the games because I am in the high risk category. Don't want to risk being close to people until a vaccine comes out. We shall see.

Remember, many years ago I was exposed to all kinds of vermin and pathogens at the Grotto. Because of that, I built up a tremendous resistance and thought I was invincible. But, the Grotto closed, and since then my resistance has dropped because I couldn’t go there anymore. Without the protections provided by exposure to the Grotto, I started getting sick and became weaker. So, I can’t fool around with the coronavirus unless the Grotto reopens, and sadly that won’t happen.

I'm grabbing season tickets to support the program. I live in CA, so I normally go to one or two games when in Chicago, and go to about 1/2 of the bowl games. Every little bit helps I'm sure...

GO HUSKIES!

I do the same, I buy season tickets to support the program even thought I haven't lived in Illinois in a long time. I try to go back for at least one game a season but doesn't always work out.

Were you in Detroit for the last MAC championship? I feel like we've met.

RE: season ticket deadline
I renew 2 weeks ago, since then I've gotten 2 phone calls and 1 email asking me if I was going to renew. While they haven't cashed my check yet you would think their would be some coordination on checking whether people have already renewed or not. Perhaps my check is just sitting in some bin somewhere waiting for someone to process it?

Did anyone not renew by the deadline? If so, did you receive a phone call about renewing your tickets?
