Monarchs in Dane Bruger's Beast draft guide:

Kesean Strong - #94 RB
Tony Barnett - #53 OG

Both are projected FA's and will probably have to stick in a Summer league/XFL before getting NFL looks.

This illustrates how bad the old staff's recruiting was and how bad this senior class was. Neither of those 2 have even the slimmest chance of making it to an NFL camp, and they are the only 2 even being considered. I wonder if that is true of any other FBS program.

Not that it was good, but a couple things.

How many players from CUSA per team are considered on average? (Im assuming more than 2 so not trying to say we did good)

This class also had Miles Fox, Tim Ward, and Jeremy cox

Fox is not an NFL player but Cox and Ward might find their way to a practice squad. Cox was hurt by Melvin Gordon going to Denver. The recruiting classes were very bad at that time because there should have been at least some who did not redshirt from the year behind that to take the place of those 3. I would say that typically every CUSA team has at least 3 to 4 total drafted players or UDFA signings. We will have none this year.

I don't know if 3 or 4 is the answer but it sounds to be in the realm. Fox may not be an NFL player but he was a hell of a college player. And with the injury, any slight chance he had probably vanished.

Here is a rough total of last years Draft picks plus UDFAs. It is probably not a complete list. No team had zero like we will this year. Last year's average was 2.86 per team based on those lists I saw.

UAB 7, FAU 5, ODU 5, UNT 3, La Tech 3, Marshall 3, MTSU 2, WKU 2, Char 2, FIU 2, Rice 2, UTSA 2, So. Miss 1, UTEP 1

Wondering if this means the end of the line for Taylor H. Not sure I see him being signed by anyone at this point.

He should be brought in to pass on a skill he had that you don't see often any more. He would know where his missed shot would go....if they kept such stats I'd love to know what % of his missed shots he rebounded.
Now all you see is players ( the shooter and his teammates) just watch a trey instead of following the shot.

Shooters dont follow their shots now bc teams figured out that stopping transition attempts is more important than crashing the glass
