Michael Flowers?
The WMU board is reporting that Michael Flowers is transferring to EMU. Is anyone else seeing/hearing that?

If true would be a great addition to OUR program regardless of when eligible. Dude can play.

Agreed. He's easily a top 10 transfer in the entire country.

RE: Michael Flowers?
I hope it’s true. The kid can flat out score, and he’s good at drawing fouls (84% from the line this season). We’ll see if it comes to fruition. My guess is he will get a waiver to play immediately, with the coaching change and him being from the area.

27.8% usage with an o-rating of 104.1.

So, he’s extremely high usage and relatively efficient. That would be a hell of a guy to have around.

Murphy offered him out of high school! I believe he's from the Detroit metro area! How about Johnson as a grad transfer? He's a forward, and not a center!

The thread because I also struggled to find it originally.

Not seeing any word about it anywhere else though.

Yep. As I suggested in another thread, players who wish to transfer, some might want to be closer to home.

We are living in very unsettled times.

Who knows when a parent or relative might get COVID-19 and get ill.

This isn't 2019, any more.

Flowers has ability. I hope the big boys don't jump in.

I believe he would have two years left of eligibility correct?

It shows him being a junior! 2017 class! A senior? Unless he was redshirted?

RE: Michael Flowers?
Flowers has played 3 years.

If he pushed his academics he could be a grad transfer.

The other one, Johnson, would be a grad transfer. He is from Chicago. No idea where he might transfer.

1 year.

I’m still skeptical on this. I know he’s local, but other than that it doesn’t make any sense. And there are closer programs to home (Oakland, Detroit) that he could choose...

They’ve really relaxed the transfer waiver. He’s from this area and his coach was fired. If he transferred here, he’d probably be able to play immediately.

With you Cow. Detroit, however, with Davis Jr. is not an option if you want to showcase your talents for the Overseas pro leagues or play in front of bigger crowds. Oakland is clearly the better option.

Wonder if the posters were in China and doing an April Fool's Day joke?

https://pistolsfiringblog.com/osu-in-the...l-flowers/

Apparently a lot of schools are interested in Flowers.

Unless he wants to be close to home or has a relationship with Murphy I suspect we will have a lot of competition.

As mentioned elsewhere, Murphy recruited him before he picked Western.
