How come there hasn’t been any official announcement on Wade? Is he possibly going to sign with a different team?
Doubtful because the flyers own his rights

Pronman: Top free agents from college hockey, major junior and Europe
By Corey Pronman Feb 27, 2020
With the trade deadline behind us, it is time to look at the top free agents outside the NHL by way of college hockey, major junior and European professionals.
The drafted college prospects are listed not because they have shown an intent to become free agents but because they are seniors or are not seniors but the CBA lets them become free agents if they choose to. Readers should not interpret a drafted college player’s listing as an indication they will become a free agent this summer.
22. Wade Allison, RW, Western Michigan-NCHC (rights owned by Philadelphia)
Allison is a player with a great toolkit. He’s a big forward who can skate, he has a lot of skill and he can score. He’s never really had that big season in college, though, and he’s been injured quite often. I do like the player, but a few years ago you would hear from NHL scouts who thought he’s a no doubt top-six forward, and now I think he’s more of a bubble prospect until he has a lengthy stretch of top performance.
