Because politicians have donors. Donors mean everything. You and I mean nothing but one vote each.

A $2T stimulus package.
Details starting to come out. These are included, but maybe not everything.
* Direct checks to Americans
* Expanded unemployment assistance
* Emergency loans to small businesses
* Stabilize key national industries
* Strict oversight for large corporations

I don't know what's in it, but we need to pass it to see what's inside it.

Yep, until both sides riot about how much influence the rich donors have it's gonna remain this way.

Remote voting isn't possible (again that seems like such an archaic rule), but they can do some sort of proxy vote?
In any case, I suspect very few people are going to vote nay and it will pass in the House somehow today.
Lazy stupid prog filth democrats are the hold up now.
Democrats hate America.
Yep. Just heard on the Kilmeade show that Congress is not planning on meeting today. Can't find a link yet. Look to the stock market to see how they react in coming minutes.
If that's true, the Republicans should all show up and call on Pelosi to get moving.

Apparently, very few in Congress are in DC right now.

It was a long long time before they allowed voting by button. It was done manually.
in 5 yrs. (among too many others in that capacity), I convinced a service center manager after getting acquired by YRK, that me and two others could turn it into a profit center by going paperless in design to the shop floor....

Every member can video tape their vote. There's not need to be physically present. If you see their faces on the video actually seeing them and hearing their vote is all that is needed.

Yes. Because if you think it costs $25 million to clean a frickin museum is the truth, then who is the idiot?
CoVid19 Stimulus bill pays $25million to Kennedy Museum of art to clean it
Quote:The appropriations text, released Wednesday along with the draft bill itself, includes $25 million in funding for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. That is down from the $35 million that was included in the recent Democratic-proposed House legislation.
The Senate bill also provides $75 million to each the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities. That is down from the $300 million for each that was in the House stimulus bill.

Of course, it that situation arises, it brings up two questions. One, would the MSM cover it objectively? And two, would the stupid republicans even be able to figure out how to use it?
lol...MSM wont be covering anything "objectively". They threw away that mantra long ago.
