The question isn't who's #1, the question is how are the remaining 31 ranked

Bob Rowe should be a #1 seed instead of Babin.

I would have Lovell Coleman instead of Bellamy.

No love for Jamarko? Brandon West lugged the rock more than any player in history, and that’s saying a lot given Bill Cubit got anaphylactic shock every time he called more than 30 rushing plays a game.

Teams feared Babin. Teams would let other players murder them to just try to stop Davis, though.

Agree. I never saw Bob Rowe play. The good Dr. does not go back that far.

It hard to beat Corey Davis numbers, impact and Cotton Bowl season. Two that can be argued for in my top 2 offensive are Zach Terrell and Brandon West.

Both great players with big numbers. I had to give the nod to Corey and Greg due to their impact on games.

Time will tell, but Jennings will likely have a greater pro career than Davis...

Nobody is speaking about him so I will. Jerome Persell was an incredible player, very elusive, had some incredible moves. We did run the ball a LOT during the Uzelot regime. There were games where he had 40 carries. He was so elusive that he'd almost always break at least one long TD, if not more. He had many games over 200 yards. The fact that he was an All American several different years backs it up. He finished second in yardage one year to Tony Dorsett. You might have heard of him.

Good post-choice.

(Coach's name was Uzelac, not Uzelot).

Jennings also had a better pro QB and offense to work within.

I saw Bob Rowe play. They would often line up with him being the only D line on his side of center. He would get double and triple teamed. And still the other team would run the other way.

Babin was an awesome bull rusher. I’ll never forget his game against Virginia Tech. He kept us in the game the first half.

I go Rowe and Babin tied for first, Jennings and Davis tied for third.

I’d put Louis Delmas near the top as well.

Bob Rowe was a beast! Saw him decimate O-linemen regularly. I agree whole-heartedly with Dirty Ernie, Bob Rowe and Jason Babin. Might want to look at brackets pre-1980 and post-1980.
