I remember that game. It was 50-49. I was huddled in my dorm listening to the game on the radio with some friends. That was Frank Beamer's 5th year and he went 2-8-1 while losing 5 games by 7 points or less. A lot of people were calling for Frank to be fired that season. Fortunately cooler heads prevailed.

FS1 showing live AFL games. I've followed Aussie Football for 33 years.

Cal fans have been using that phrase ever since. Very few other miracles, though. The 60-59 win over Wazzu in 2014 would qualify as one.
