I would ask who else it would be. The only other active center on the team currently is Maurice since Dandridge is down. It is either Lance or Maurice who is bodying up against him day in and day out.

I'm sure he's banging against Precious as well.

Precious is not a banger. More of a Rudy Gay type working on 3pt shot.

Yep. Also they are spending more time playing together than against each other. On top of that, they aren't wasting a lot of time developing Precious at the 5 since he will never play the 5 at the next level. So sure, they spend some time against each other but nowhere near the time Wiseman is bodied up against Lance.

I think the kid can shoot...I think he got more consistent as the year went on.

But damn he has got to grab more boards. He needs to eat some steaks and find the weight room.

Thomas' shooting struggles had nothing to do with Wiseman being gone. Lance got great looks all year long and just threw up bricks. As the season progressed he started finding his shot which is promising for this coming season. But his shooting struggles were 100% on him because he was wide open on most of his misses.

Easier to shoot and not worry about bricking when you know you got backup (offensive rebounding advantage) to cleanup your brick....

If you are shooting and thinking about or worrying about throwing up bricks then you should not be shooting regardless of who is on the court to rebound for you.

So literal you guys are. Having decent bigs who clean the glass and owns the paint gives piece of mind when shooting. Just ask the Houston Rockets. I doubt Harden has forgotten how to shoot.....

What I have literally never heard from any player at any level ever say is "I would make more shots if I just knew I had better rebounders on my team"...

I don’t disagree. It’s a subconscious thing.

It also needs to be at least a little bit of a conscious thing. If your team is totally out of position for any shot at a rebound, the shot is usually not as good of a shot.
