Well Emmert was a chancellor at LSU, but surely he wouldn't have any buddies in his ear. Also lots of Kansas people in big positions. But I'm sure everybody is completely professsional.

it's embarrassing the NCAA didn't jump on this immediately and hammer these programs for obvious violations. people are truly jacked up

Because they coach at P5 schools. If they coached at G5 schools they would have been fired before the season started and the schools given very stiff penalties.

But the longer the NCAA lets this drag on, the more people tend to forget about it. How many years did the North Caroline fake class joke go on? I believe it was several years before the NCAA determined there was nothing to see there.

Maybe. And maybe that's because we don't have deep enough pockets to properly fight. Who knows.

Doesn't change the fact that there is a bias that favors power programs.

The NCAA is scared the P5 schools will form their own governing body and leave them behind... so they hammer the schools they can, and then leave the handful of true power programs alone.
