So Who Takes The Fall?
When the NCAA hammers us someone will have to be the scapegoat.....so who takes the fall?

President?

Athletic Director?

Head Coach?

Nobody at the university. They all decided how to handle this together.

RE: So Who Takes The Fall?
This is 100% on Penny. I love Penny, want him as our HC, but anyone who has ever played a sport with college aspirations knows you cannot toss money around or you kill eligibility. There is no way Penny didnt know that what he was doing would cause Wiseman eligibility issues. I question why he would do such a terrible thing and the only answer that makes sense is that he was more concerned about winning a championship at his high school than he was about an amateur athlete that he was coaching.

If there has to be a fall guy, it should be the one who was 100% responsible. So Penny, time to take your lumps.

I think we stand a better chance with this independent board than we would with the normal NCAA process.

Penny. I will be surprised if he doesn't get a show-clause. Hope MM is still around and can step right in for the job. He can keep the team together and land Green & Brown. Assuming we don't get hit with a post season ban.

Mike can’t be HC. He has no degree.
