For not allowing AState's Men's team use of their arena for practice prior to the game despite allowing their men's team use of it.

They probably would have gotten off with a light scolding, but Darryl Walker said some things postgame that made it appear to the conference that they did it on purpose.

I’m interested in what those post-game comments were exactly

Apparently Walker and Mohajir got into an argument? I'd like to see video of that.

https://twitter.com/Aaron_Sadler/status/...48706?s=20 here is a link that has the letter sent to Little Rock. Not just the shoot around issue but things the Little Rock coach said after the game and issues with a student journalist at the A State post game press conference.

Yep knew this was coming. Just a blunder of crap full of communication mistakes and personal wrongdoings. I'm not very happy with Coach Walker's comments (supposedly about a betting line?) and about the practice fiasco. No excuse, we are the paying the fine.

I've heard it happened right after the handshake but I'm not sure about that.

No one's really sure. He apparently said it to Mohajir who reported it to the league, but despite having quite a large mouth himself, TM isn't talking about it.

I think many in our administration were taken aback by the who idea that this is still a rivalry and they may not like us thing. The Series with Little Rock had gotten fairly quiet recently, a combination of neither program being particularly great, or having coaches who hadn't pushed the rivalry as hard as others.

I don't care about Walker's comments and the only concern I'd have if a UALR fan is that it helped frame the screw ups as malignant.

The practice thing was a huge screw up because it is a long established rule that no one else has managed to break that I've ever heard of. Then permitting fans to sit on the front of a press conference holding signs is another gaffe no one else has managed to do.

The period of leadership vacuum creates the possibility for these things to happen.

No it is not just this administration. AState leadership with the exception a short period when both programs were pretty good has not treated the series as a rivalry. Ever since UALR cancelled the non-conference series back in the late 80's a culture of professed indifference has been the norm.

I'm of the opinion that it has a lot to do with Walker not getting the job here the last 2 coaching searches. He has a bone to pick.

Well, I’m guessing he won’t get it next time, neither.

Was your SID in the media room in LR? Why didn't he police the situation? I agree, it was wrong. SID should have done something about it. That's his job. And it was certainly not normal for the asu AD to sit front and center in the media room during Walker's post game remarks in Jonesboro.
