Well that release time isn’t convenient for me so....

This schedule is awful!
MAC screws us again!
I’m not renewing!
Fire STF!

What am I forgetting?

RE: MAC 2020 Football Schedule Release
Only mysteries at this point are the east crossovers (excluding dates and times, of course). Kent State in DeKalb is already confirmed. I'm guessing we get Buffalo and BG on the road.

HOME
Rhode Island
Ball St
Central Michigan
Toledo
Kent St
BYU *

AWAY
Iowa
Maryland
Western Michigan
Eastern Michigan
Buffalo (guess)
BG (guess)

Why to we have to travel to Bridgeview and then have to travel back to DeKalb for another home game the next week.....

Why Tuesday instead of Wednesday???

RE: MAC 2020 Football Schedule Release
In anticipation of the MAC schedule release I was watching the 2003 game against Maryland. I know it’s been 17 years but that has to be a Top 3 (if not the top) moment in Huskie Stadium. I had forgotten about Azar’s late FG…so clutch. The crowd was absolutely insane. The shot of them at the 3:11 mark man. Miss those days of a packed stadium.

What's also crazy is Fox Sports had two sideline reporters for that game. The TV contract/coverage used to be so much better than what it is now.

Yep, I remember when all of our home games were on Fox Sports Net or Comcast Sports Net Chicago. And the typical game had regional - not just local - coverage. Now that ESPN bought the MAC, we need to bow down and be thankful for the ESPN3 stream.

Welp there went 2 hours for me...

Forgot Nick Novak was their kicker, pretty good K's on the field that day.

Man the energy...

Sheldon comes back from injury. Fleck with that crazy catch (he had a very similar one a couple weeks later I believe vs. Ohio.

Is there a rule I missed that makes home games in September not allowed anymore? 1 game when the weather will normally be nice at home again?

RE: MAC 2020 Football Schedule Release
Perhaps a minor concern, but where will they put Homecoming?** Or doesn't that matter any more? EMU at the top made room for BYU later ... why couldn't they have one of those Saturday MAC home games up there? Two in a row with URI might have generated some home interest to carry over all those road games. What a $%#& job.

**OK, saw it ... Oct. 10 v. cMU.

Not 2020, but 2021 Georgia tech game got moved to 9/4, which was supposed to be our home game vs Maine

Not getting political just stating a fact-the Buffalo game is on the same night as the next presidential election. IMO that won’t help attendance that night either.

That's red vs blue. Hopefully Trump will tweet congratulating NIU on a big victory that night.
