Ugly, but I'll take it. Nate with another double-double.

We are talking about how bad Towson shot, but while they were only 9 for 26 in the 2nd Half, we were 9 for 27. Still, good road win.

Not sure why we didn't have Nate in the low post most of the game. Maybe worried about fouls. Great road win against a bad match up.

We are starting to get some glue from Blair. I like that.

A conference road win on 2/20. Nuff said!

Congrats to staff and players!

20 win season within reach. That would be a remarkable achievement, championship or no championship!

Well, again, when we keep turnovers Under 12, we usually win. We had only 8 TO's tonight and are now 12-2 when keeping our turnovers under control.

1 win shy of a 20 win season. JMU and Elon are winnable games to close out the regular season.

Great win!

Shot only 3 of 6 down the stretch. Blame one miss on Kris Sears for jinxing Hamilton and blame the second on Jay Colley for jinxing Hamilton.

I think that is why Andy was shooting so many late threes - just trying to get that 10th point.

That was a grinder of a game, but any road win is a good win. Almost broke my TV when Tyler hacked the guy shooting the three near the end of the game! Keep it up at JMU this Saturday!

Great team defense tonight!!! while Towson had a lot of offensive rebounds, that will happen when you hold a team to 30% from the field!

Great win and now Road record 5-3 in CAA!

We help JMU close out their gym on Saturday to a packed house-will be tough game.

First game in person tonight ... loved watching our coaches coach ... Coach Howland seemed to know Towson’s plays better than their team did and had our guys in great positioning

Barnes still playing at a high level ... great to see Ayesa get back on track; he adds a big element when he is hitting 3’s ... Blair is really having an important impact

I think that aspect would be a lot more meaningful to them if they were having a good, or even decent, year. With the bad, yes, terrible year that they are having I don't think many people will want to show up just to say goodbye to the convocation center. I do agree, though, that W&M has to play well to avoid the trap game and all those past ghosts in the convocation center.

Road win against a tough opponent. I’ll take it. And perhaps more importantly, we have now beaten every conference team at least once. We know we can do it. DC is gonna be crazy. Let’s finish the regular season with some strong focus and well-executed games. They are both winnable if we play our game.

W&M shoots only 39% from the field but holds Towson to 27.4%. Looks to be the lowest a CAA opponent has shot against the Tribe since Jan. 9, 2010 (Drexel, 24.1%).

RE: MBB Game #29 - @ Towson
Amazing how this team has steadied and bounced back from the three game losing slump. They played dynamite defense last night against the highest scoring team in the CAA.

Ayesa and Blair with big contributions from the bench. hitting five for eleven from the 3-point line and playing good defense. Ayesa has improved greatly in his defense and ball handling as he matures on the court. And Blair knows situations and spacing...and has the knack of being in the right place at the right time.

Who would have guessed during the turmoil of last summer that this team would be on the cusp of a 20-win season and be battling for first place in the CAA?

Towson is 7th in the CAA in scoring.
