If Lomax would have had a little quicker release on that layup then the game was over. I notice that many of the Tigers are slow with release under the bucket. Which is surprising what with all the NBA coaches on the staff. The NBA absolutely teaches that quick release stuff. The shot just doesn't get blocked much the faster it goes up.

Yeah, I loved the play he drew up at the end of regulation. Give it to Lomax and let him walk up the court, waste time and then drive in for a ridiculous attempt to win the game. Tremendous.

It was a man to man defense. Precious got the rebound and was fouled, no call. Nothing wrong with that last play.

I thought we did a good job all in all

I would have rather had the ball in Boogie’s hands, but we did get a couple of good looks there.

When you have a small guard that what you do. You force him to make a play and don't leave anyone else. That's how we are being played down the stretch. We missed free throws that would have kept them at bay.

With Wiseman and DJ?

Or do you want to change that statement.

Next year concerns me. You think we stink on offense now, wait until you don’t have the guy who got you 20 tonight. And who is going to rebound? Dandridge, Thomas and Stokes? Hellllllo CBI!

I’m not convinced Penny will get Jalen Green or Greg Brown. It may be back to Tubby level recruits.

We want alllll the smoke!

Precious is not an offensive player...

He is a hustle guy, but he struggles mightily to score over defense. So when you need a basket he is easy to shut down...Just beat him to the goal and don't foul

Great defensively...Very good rebounder..

Consider this the Tigers hit as many baskets in the final minute of OT as they did in the final 5 minutes of regulation.

With Alo on the floor late in a game like tonight, Boogie & LQ seem to defer to him & just stand around. When Boogie is at the point, he looks to drive & get others involved, same with Baugh at the point.

It's good experience for our team

Experience for what? The CBI?

Experience for the future. It's how young players become veterans.

All in all I was very proud of our team tonight. We competed and passed the "eye" test for a change.

If we can play like we did tonight we could win the AAC tourney.

Kudos to our staff for having these young men ready to play tonight.

They really did. While I'm hugely disappointed with the result I'm still very proud of the grit and never say die mentality of this young team.

There was a night and day difference between last game and this game in a tougher environment and against a much better team. The lack of consistency at this stage in the season is maddening. It does give me hope that we have a chance in the conf tourney and if Lester and Boogie come back and we get Jalen and Brown, we can make the big tourney next season. That’s a start to hopefully a good run for a while.

The end of that game took me to a bad place. The 2008 Natty against Kansas...all you had to do was hit ONE stinking free throw

Agreed. Yes they missed a lot of FTs, but the Tigers showed heart and gave a lot of effort tonight and as long as they do that I will be proud of them.

I want to commend Lance, Precious and Malcolm for toughing it out tonight. Malco was struggling in the 2nd half, Precious is still feeling the effects of the hard fall in the previous game and so was Lance. So no criticism for the guys, we lost the game but hats off to these warriors.
