He missed Precious for an easy lob on the cut. Never even saw Precious. Passed to the corner instead resulted in no score

Could you show me the board where you said that before the season? I would love to see it.

It's good experience for our team

Experience for what? The CBI?

Experience for the future. It's how young players become veterans.

All in all I was very proud of our team tonight. We competed and passed the "eye" test for a change.

If we can play like we did tonight we could win the AAC tourney.

Kudos to our staff for having these young men ready to play tonight.

Alo and Tyler both should have progressed far beyond where they are by now.

We gave up quite a few offensive rebounds.

They really did. While I'm hugely disappointed with the result I'm still very proud of the grit and never say die mentality of this young team.

I’ve been hard on Penny all season. I fully expected to get blown off the court tonight. Sure there were some mistakes down the stretch, but this was one of his better coached games, IMO

They didn't cost us the game, our inability to close out did. There were a number of things to point to that we did wrong, again. The one thing we didn't do was quit. This team has more heart than skill and I guess that counts for something.

Absolutely!

Yep, he made some mistakes but he's still learning the game at this level.

And Penny proved me right. Last year's team had less talent but would beat this year's team like a drum.

With Wiseman and DJ?

Or do you want to change that statement.

3-game Wiseman? We've got walk ons who have played more.

We will have a tournament level program again someday. No idea when that’ll be or who the coach will be to finally get us back there, but it’ll happen sooner or later.

When does football spring practice start??!!

Yeah, I loved the play he drew up at the end of regulation. Give it to Lomax and let him walk up the court, waste time and then drive in for a ridiculous attempt to win the game. Tremendous.

Yeah, he only blew a 10 point lead and lost by 6. That's way better than a 40 point loss.

It was a man to man defense. Precious got the rebound and was fouled, no call. Nothing wrong with that last play.

I thought we did a good job all in all

Got to play Baugh in Alo's place, he needs minutes & we need his height on the floor. Alo had some good minutes but had a rough start & a rough finish.

We started 13-17 from the line and finished 20-32; so 7-15 with 3 missed front ends, so obviously that's no good.

They called 10 fouls on us from the time we got the lead with a little over 11 minutes left to a little over a minute into overtime, so 10 fouls in a 12 and a half minute span.

We had loser fans asking why Dandridge didn't hold onto the ball. He didn't hold onto it because he got body checked and the refs didn't call a foul. No foul on the charge on Cumberland, no foul on any of our drives, all of which had much more contact than the 5th foul on Precious. No foul when Precious went up for the rebound on the last drive.

By any measure known to man, we got ******.
