My point was that Penny was committed to playing him to the point that having him in the rotation directly contributed to losses.. yet when we need a rebound against USF wasnt even a viable player - he NEVER should have been in the rotation and we might have had 2 fewer losses

Unacceptable Memphis.. It looks like the Penny's experiment is going to end in failure.. This is easily the most disappointing season of Tigers basketball I’ve experienced in my life.. Unacceptable to lose to Tulsa by 40.. Unacceptable to blow a lead in the last 3 minutes against SMU at home.. Unacceptable to lose to a USF team with a LOSING RECORD at home.. This team is apathetic.. They don’t wear the jersey with pride.. Just awful.

There also aren’t any recruits coming in next year, as of today.. Precious will be gone, and I bet we see some transfers.. It’s amazing how quickly this thing went from looking amazing, to looking hopeless.. It’s just so disheartening.

I’m sure Penny’s excuse makers are going to chime in.. just was plain and simply out coached plus our team is very soft.

I have been critical of penny as well... But even I can see this game is not on him.

Just a sad situation and to be fair he's had so much bad crap thrown at him this year it would have been difficult for a seasoned coach to overcome. That said, I hope he hires a coach , you know, kind of like the one I mentioned in the thread I started that I received so much flak over.

Pastner had a season like this with 0 adversity.

This team lost its entire frontcourt tonight and people want to ignore that.

Can't wait to hear about PA and LT.
