How's he a fraud? You can play a speech of him from 30 years ago and today and it has the exact same message. You can call it a "toe picking commie hippie slug" message, but it's a 100% consistent message. In the 1980's Warren was a Reagan supporter. In the 1980's Bernie supported gay and trans rights before it was even a remotely viable position to have. Find me a position aside from maybe guns (which I honestly think he doesn't care about that much) where his position has drastically changed from 30 years ago? You can't. You don't have to like what he stands for, but you damn well know he actually stands for it, unlike any other candidate running.

Got it. You support Communism. If you think Sanders isn't a Communist at heart, you are kidding yourself.

Got it, you support Fascism. If you think Trump isn't a Fascist at heart, you are kidding yourself. Of course I know that's stupid and hyperbolic, but why not lets just devolve this right into name calling.

I didn't call you any name, I called Bernie a Communist. He is. I hope Bernie gets the nomination. It will put the final nail in the Dem's coffin for years to come. Plus all of the Bernie supporters that want everything given to them will have to get a f'n job and make a living without Bernie feeding them.

The "tea party" was what roughly the same % of the GOP at the time about a decade ago and they did the exact same thing and absolutely shifted the GOP exponentially to the right. I'd rather we have a system that makes it possible for 90% voter turnout, but when you usually have roughly 50-60% at best if you have 10% of the country saying do what we say or we'll screw everything up for you it works. Did you go around telling tea party members they need to not go primary sitting GOP house and Senate members in the 2010 election? I highly doubt it. I think we'd have all fallen in line had Hillary thrown us even the slightest bone, if she'd have picked Warren as her running mate (even though she's proven to be a hack) it would have gotten the far left to settle down. Instead they told us to all shut up and vote for her.

You're buying the MSM lies about the Tea Party. The Tea Party was about balanced budgets. It was the Ross Perot voters. They were fiscal conservatives. A lot of conservative politicians tried to tie themselves to the Tea Party and the MSM tried to make the most outrageously right positions seem like they were what all the Tea Party wanted.

Where did I even comment about what the tea party stood for? All I said was it was a not very large % of the overall country that stood up and demanded they be taken seriously and that they would not concede on their points or just fall in line and drastically changed the party. A lot of the democrats have tried to co-op "medicare for all" and other things Bernie stands for, but when pushed on it they get proven out that they don't have the conviction to stand for it. Warren probably could have taken that lane from Bernie, but once she got pushed and waffled on medicare for all everyone realized she didn't really believe in it and would compromise so much if she was in power that if we even got anything at all passed it would just be some sort of unworkable monstrosity like Obamacare is.

LOL I've got a job, working in the finance department of a company that manages and runs Clinical Research Trials. I fully know how much money the pharmaceutical industry is siphoning. I remember trying to do any kind of "collections" in the other industries I've been in was an absolute nightmare. They'll pay us insane amounts of money for nonsense we didn't even actually perform without a question because they are so flush with cash. They'll cut us several thousand for pregnancy tests even if there were plenty of male subjects, they don't care it's not worth it to them to even ask. Because of this our policy pretty much is bill them for anything and everything possible and if they actually take the time to check and call us on it later credit it off. The amount we charge for these procedures is insane and sickening, and the amount they'll pay without batting an eye is sickening because it's not worth it to them to check or care.

I don't want to be any of those countries. Not a single one or their governments appeal to me in the slightest. Any "Bill of Rights" they have can be infringed upon by simple majority votes and their people have no right to free speech, free expression, or self defense that the government of the day doesn't allow them.

And more importantly, none of them can defend themselves without US for more than a few days, if that. WE are the most powerful, most dynamic, most innovative, most self-prosperous nation on Earth, because we are BIG "C" Capitalists and limit Socialism to the little "s" status.

Please reexamine how those nations actually operate. You appear to have been listening to the MSM a tad too much.

We have all those things and a healthcare system that forces millions to choose between food or medicines they need. But that's ok we can bomb those countries back to the stone age if we want to.

I don’t support Bernie, but there’s no doubt he genuinely believes in what he talks about. The only other person I’d say that for in the Democratic Party is probably Yang. Again, not saying I’d vote for him, but he’s definitely not a fraud, unlike most politicians, which despite how much I disagree with him, I kind of admire.

And Yang is certainly my second favorite, because I also think he actually believes in what he says, and even if I am not sure if I think his version of UBI is perfect he's at least the first semi real candidate to make it a talking point.

I actually agree with Bernie on many social issues. Unlike most in my generation though, I just can’t ignore the fact that he’d bankrupt us in a matter of weeks if he was president.

You've so bought MSM propaganda, you didn't even realize you were doing it.

So instead of discussing the point I was making about a relatively small % of the overall electorate being able to demand and stick to their demands and force a party to move their direction you wanna get bogged down in whether I 100% accurately described the Tea Party exactly to your liking? I don't give a flying fu*k about whatever the Tea Party actually stands for, has nothing to do with the point I was making. If we are going to have to agree to 100% accuracy regarding the description of a movement then shut this board down after reading every single post about Bernie and what he wants. Also is it factually inaccurate to say that the Tea Parties fiscal position was exponentially to the right (or more conservative or whatever makes your little snowflake heart happy to call it I really don't care) of what the main stream GOP was at that time? I certainly don't think so.

Kronke said how dare 25% of 1 party demand to be taken seriously and refuse to compromise in any way and threaten to take down anyone who opposes them. I said sounds a lot like what the Tea Party did to the GOP about a decade ago and I doubt anyone on here demanded that they just roll over and accept what the establishment of the party wanted. Tell me why that point was wrong, maybe say that the Tea Party was far more or less than 25% of the GOP at the time, or argue they were amendable to working with the establishment of the party at the time, or you can just continue to red herring things and admit that my analogy is correct.

It's beyond my comprehension that there are people who could believe completely unfettered and unregulated capitalism is a good idea. If you want to get into what I actually believe it doesn't fully align with Bernie in a lot of ways, but the areas it does matters more to me than the areas I don't and the areas we agree are in areas that I know the mainstream wing of the party either doesn't agree with or just pays lip service to.

Without mentioning something that Bernie is going to give you and the rest of the population for "FREE" (i.e. college or health care) because we all know it has to be paid for by some/all of us, give us at least 3 tangible things that Bernie is going to do to make an improvement in our lives over what Trump has already done or is currently doing.

Please leave out the feel good items by saying something crazy like "he will bring the country together". Just because the Democrats hate ANYTHING that Trump does - no matter how much it is helping them in their lives - doesn't mean that Conservatives liked Obama or will like Bernie any more and suddenly be "brought together" either. Democrats have a nasty habit of being divisive by constantly pitting old against young, wealthy against less wealthy, blacks against whites, legals against Hispanics & illegals, etc. then acting like electing them is the answer to fixing that which THEY are the primary cause of in the first place.

To be fair, I will list below at least 3 things that Trump has accomplished that has had a tangible positive effect on my life thus far -

1). He has lowered my Federal Taxes which put well over $1,000 in my pocket last year alone.

2). During his time in office thus far I have yet to have to pay as much as $3 or $4 a gallon for regular gas like I had to for significant amounts of time during Obama's time in office.

3). My Roth IRA and my TSP account have both surged enormously in Trump's time in office as opposed to the paltry advances I had in both during Obama's 8 years in office.

4). My CD's and Savings in the bank are both getting much higher interest rates than they ever did during Obama's 8 years in office.

5). Even in retirement I got a larger pay increase in my monthly retirement check than I ever did during Obama's 8 years in office.

6). I know that the country is stronger and more secure having a better funded military, and a more secure southern border than it was during the Obama's 8 years in office.

7). I am able to keep my personal health insurance and thereby have more personal control over my healthcare decisions than if something like Obamacare or Medicare For All were to be implemented.

I could add more, but you get the picture.

Ahhhhh the 'ol wordy response that essentially equals, "Yeah, I know socialism has been a massive failure globally but that's just because they didn't do it right. We know how to fix that."
