seriously. i'm guilty of this. our last international trip, we had to be at the tangier airport by like six am; staying in the outskirts of the city with lots of lost in translation of the particulars in how we were going to get to the airport. what's the alternative, not travel?

People being late

People who try to finish sentences for you.

People, while telling a story,, using only the first names of people in said story.

Name droppers.

It could be much worse.

Your mistress could be late, and I mean l a t e!
The person finishing your sentence could be the actual perp.
The story tellers may be changing the names and only using nicknames to protect the guilty.
And the people dropping names might be talking about great defense attorneys.

Now next time somebody bugs the crap out of you with those you listed think of these and smile and say to yourself, "Everything's great man!"

You may have been in the North for too long. Grinding one's own coffee is a symptom of becoming a coffee snob, which is a symptom that you've had too much exposure to those who think they are elite because they value trivial things more deeply than others.

Just tell your family to force you to get therapy if that grinder is placed in your kitchen in accordance with Feng Shui.

No sir. It's put away in a drawer until time to use it. I wouldn't call me a coffee snob meaning I don't sit and waft it in my nose or try to detect tasting notes, but do understand I enjoy a good cup of Wake Me Up. And from what I understand, freshly ground beans, even in Mr. Coffee, tastes better and/or different than opening a bag and putting a couple scoops in. Also I got a manual grinder.

Well I'm no coffee snob either but I did learn a few things from the Shrimp Factory in Savannah. It was my first experience with a French Press. They ground the beans manually at your table and used the French Press. The taste was sublime.

So if you are going to grind your own just boil some water in a kettle add the ground beans to the press, pour in the water and extract the best cup of coffee you are ever likely to have. And all of it is old school. Think 1870's prairie experience or 1850's gold rush days. Those old sourdoughs ground their own beans, boiled their water on a campfire and then essentially did the same thing without the press which just makes it easier. If you are a two cup guy you can get a press that will give you that with the same motion.

I can't have any of it anymore as it throws my heart rhythm off, even decaf which still has 27 milligrams of caffeine.

The 1968 Oakland Raider's D Line, specifically Ben Davidson! I think Fred Dryer (Hunter) played for the Rams in the 70's.

When you get an email saying we're having sales on something you've been waiting on to go on sale.. You got to the site and they have only sizes that midgets or small children wear but not yours. That grinds my gears.
