Everyone including NDSU should write to the NCAA and express your concerns about where the National Championship is played. A soccer stadium - really? The National Championship should be played on the big stage in a football stadium with all the glitz and glamour that should go with it. What football game do you go to and the bands are sitting next to each other in an area that won't even hold all of the band members. It's time to move the location before January 2021. So you have to cancel the contract. It won't be the first and it won't be the last. The FBS bowl games are played in nice locations and they don't fill the stadiums.
The address is -

And the vast majority have absolutely pathetic, nonexistent game atmospheres. Like Frisco or not, a filled stadium creates a pretty electric game environment.

you mean with our band sitting next to the other teams band and not enough room to bring our whole band
A soccer stadium for a national football championship - really?

contracts can be cancelled if enough people complain
It's like playing in a high school stadium
The first time I went I thought this is where the National Championship is being played. No big stage, that's for sure!
Two years for us, flights were delayed or cancelled.
Two out of three years, the weather was so cold.
Flights into Dallas are expensive
JMU stadium has all the glitz and glamour, this stadium has none

I don't think I will go back to the Natty if it is held at Toyota Stadium. I will tailgate with the gang, then head to a sports bar, then another round of postgame tailgating. Toyota is a horrible venue. Plus, I paid over $500 for three tickets in the endzone. Suck facility!

Posted elsewhere, anyone taking time to send a physical letter should also fill out the official feedback survey, which doesn't take long, and is likely routed to the right people more efficiently.
This survey link was emailed to ticket purchasers by NCAA:
https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/5334702/2...Highlights
I have serious doubts the Frisco contract will change before it expires in 2026, but it can't hurt to send feedback. Not doing so means they will continue to believe all is well.

I received a survey yesterday from the NCAA on the game and the venue. I was brutally honest. It sucks!

RE: Toyota Stadium
If I were NDSU I would be so bored with the same place...I like to go and experience new things, new cities. There have to be similar venues in other cities to go to that would be a chance of scenery for them.
With that said, I think the biggest complaint is the start time. 11am really? I would take ESPNU and a 1 or 4pm start over ABC and 11am. At the very least a 1pm start with a noon CT start. Bullcrap to start before noon. Even with being there for two days, it is a factor for teams coming from outside the time zone.
Our last two games started at night. It sucks to tailgate at 6am...I'd like to have all day or most of the day to tailgate.
It's likely just a way the NCAA doesn't have to spend another hotel night for the teams...they fly them out a few hours after the game.
I also think that it'll be interesting to see how well NDSU travels to Oregon. It's one thing to travel to Kansas or K-State or Minnesota...Oregon is a bit further. I bet you that if the championship game was in Atlanta, NDSU would not have the same number of fans they have in Dallas. And that would also be a factor in their success!

All the other stuff you said might be true except for the flights.
You're dealing with booking in under a 3 week window, when prices will have gone up across the board (although can still find deals).
Considering you're booking under 3 weeks, and the distance people are flying from the mid Atlantic, flying into Dallas isn't that expensive. It will be more expensive to fly into anywhere else that is a much smaller airport or non hub where you have to make connections. Imagine another host city with a way smaller airport than DFW + DAL combined, where all of a sudden you have 15k fans flying over 2-3 days, and flying out over 1-2 days. Unless extra flights are added, could be very expensive.

Unless its 2 of JMU, NDSU or Montana, there will never be a need for a bigger stadium for the FCS title game

There wasn’t even really a need for this game. Sure, some of the empty seats could have been weather-related, but the secondary ticket were plentiful and prices dropped pretty hard this year. Dozens of tickets selling well below face value several days before the game.
Just the nature of the beast for live sports these days.

Anyone notice that the top couple of rows in our sections had large pockets of yellow clad fans? Kinda jumps out at you when watching. Wonder how those Bison came to acquire those seats, as they should have been ones distributed through the school and Duke Club.

Top rows were NCAA experience seats. Sold to general public for $135 I believe.

If they can have the FBS bowl games in a nicer, larger stadium, (which they are not filling), why can't we?

I also kinda wonder how many fans might’ve been discouraged by previous ticket prices/availability in a JMU/NDSU matchup and didn’t plan on making the trip but would have if it were in a 30-35k stadium.
I don’t know though, it’s hard to put your finger on why tickets were the way they were this time. JMU filled that stadium by ourselves(basically) in 2016. NDSU has done the same. Just a matter of getting tough for people to make the trip over and over and over? Same location over and over? There certainly didn’t seem to be any drop off in excitement for JMU football in general this year.
