it's been referenced on here several times, one step forward, and two or three back. Nice second game in DC, been a train wreck since.(excluding D3 win). If CB were to get let go, i'd hope the guys would at least give the school a chance to hire before they jumped ship.

There were big grad transfer bodies available. I (and others) said that we should have used the last scholarship available to get the best available big we could get. I think Brent Jenkins is a fine well-spoken young man, but he was a poor use of the last scholarship.
All things were predicted before the season. We didn't find a suitable experienced defensive minded big (yes I know Dodd is going to be good), CB McGrath cannot coach mid-major talent yet because he comes from the UNC tree, Cacok's absence would be felt not just in the rebounding department and not everything can be blamed on not having 'your guys'.
My next prediction: Our woes continue in a stronger CAA, our Pre-Season ranking looks accurate, fans get tired of watching this ****, CB will be gone at the end of this season and our best players transfer. Can somebody out there actually argue against any of these?
Only whether CB will be gone. We can buy out 1 year but probably not two. But, if he stays, I can easily see our best players transfer. When you run up against well coached teams as a player, you can easily see how you might succeed in another program. However, if our best players do transfer, we may not have a choice.
You can also see the affect of making the right hire from the right system. Charlotte throttled us with a 1st year coach out of UVA making our 3rd. year coach out of UNC look like a rec coach.
Also, if we could do it right now, i'd sit CB and make assistant Rob Burke the HC. I love his passion and enthusiasm.
Didn’t we fire Buzz with 2 years left on his deal?

Lol. Yes. We all know it’s been stated several times on here... by YOU.

It comes as a huge surprise to me that you would make a statement like this. Sounds like a solid plan for a basketball program trying to rebuild.

Not disagreeing with the larger point that we would've been better off, but I don't think we beat CofC in 2018. We'll never know, but last year could've been fun if the incoming class remained in tact.

For sure, all speculation on how good, but even if bad i don't think it would have fallen to this level.

Certainly no guarantee that Siddle could have kept ALL of our recruits intact either. But even 2 or 3 would have been better than 0....
