I saw Fedora on the sideline at Texas as an "analyst" the other day. Why not?

He knows what it takes to win here and knows how to recruit real players. Not afraid to go against SEC schools. He’d have us dominating this conference. I’d definitely consider him if we had an opening.

For us it does. Hopson will be back next year is my guess. The problem is the administration sees the cost to buy him out. I'm seeing the continued exodus it will cause. Several of those who leave will not come back.

He’s definitely coming back next year. The stadium’s going to be empty, the players are going to pack it in after the first couple losses, and the bottom will fall out, THEN we’ll move on.

The thing that truly sucks is, he's not trying and has the potential. We could've shown the country that we're a decent program. But now, he lets his foot off the gas with a 13 pt lead and plays conservative thinking he could win the game by scoring 13.

If Hop goes then BENNETT HAS TO GO WITH HIM, and throw in the assistant AD as well.

HOP TRIED to make a huge game changing positive move by hiring Briles to competently run the O, which would have freed him up to try to straighten out the D and CPR'd our football program.

BENNETT CAUSED A MAJOR STINK and embarrassment to USM by retreating, cowering under his desk and hanging Hop out to dry. A little courage would have shut the whiners up immediately.

So, Hop was forced to find an OC at the GOODWILL SALVAGE STORE.

If I were Hop after the Bennett treatment it'd be HARD TO CARE.

If Hopson can’t hold 2-TD leads on La Tech & Tulane without hiring one specific guy who’s currently exiled to working at a high school in Texas, he can go f*** himself.

The problem is who is here, not who isn’t.

The other thing about that is what did Hopson ever do up to that point to earn the right to have his judgement trusted on that decision? You want to be given the benefit of the doubt, you go out and win 9+ games. Going over his AD’s head in something sure to attract negative attention immediately after failing to make a bowl was freaking stupid.
