RE: Transfers
He just used his third year of eligibility. He has to wait one full year in residencey. So if he plays the second half of next year, his senior year he's done. He doesn’t get another senior year. Now he could sitting out all next year and play the complete 2021-2022 season, using the five to play four. You can't split your academic years or have two senior years.

Lol. No he won’t. He’ll either play half a year or a full year (assuming he gets a school to scholarship him for 2.5 years)
I don't believe redshirted so the next year sitting out would be his redshirt year.

No one is saying he doesn’t have a year available to sit out.

He would sit out spring 20 and fall 20 and become eligible after fall finals. Therefore he would play half a year. After which his eligibility would be done

RE: Transfers
Think of it as seasons of competition. Athletes are allowed to compete for four seasons in one sport. Athletes who compete for any amount of time during a season, used up one season in their sport.

I'm certain that the people advising Godwin are telling him, he's got 1-1/2 years left. We'll see.

Both have been removed from the ODU MBB Roster. Good luck guys.

Oregon is reportedly in the mix on Newman.

RE: Transfers
I think we can reasonably expect that some players won't have their scholarships renewed. And I think we can reasonably expect some more players to look elsewhere once the staff is announced.

I have a bad feeling something is up with LaLa, just based on his twitter account and the lack of followings with new coaches, connections with other schools and lack of ODU references.

Interesting....not surprising, but interesting. I wish the best for him and hope he has found himself in a situation where he's content. Outside of his going closer to home (barely), I'm still intrigued with the situatuon of someone who has a starting spot, averaging 28+ minutes in a larger mid-major school deciding to jump ship mid-season towards, at-best, less than a lateral move.

He’s a drama queen that wasn’t feeling much love from those around him. Tired of his Bs.

This is what happens when someone thinks they are better than they really are. He listened to all the wrong people. I wish him well.

Agree wish him well. I think the Hampton move will work out and he's coming back home. It's going to be tough sitting an year out.

Hopefully, he collects a couple of employable degrees because he isn’t going to get paid to play after his eligibility concludes.
