Biggest positive - Blocked shots, steals, TO margin. Press starting to work.
Biggest disappointment - #9 3 pt. defense. That's an area that killed us last year. #7 3 pt. %.304, #8 three point attempts. We have got to be better.

I guess it will be a plus that we are getting our best shooter and two of our best defenders back. It sure can't hurt.

Hawks only allowed 1-7 against JMU from 3 in the last game so that stat was better. Hope that's a trend but each team presents different looks and I'm not sure against Towson. Towson usually has big brutes so if you don't help, they may dominate the paint.

Still, I do like the pressure for this group. Good call on that early 82! If they get another body or 2 soon that can play, it may pay dividends as we progress. The worry is that they get tired with such a short bench, but it's really the only option for this team and they have competed a bit better by implementing some pressure.

Agree. Too bad one of them isn't a post player. Towson recruits football players to pound the boards. We already have the worst rebounding differential in the conference. We'd better make our shots because we aren't going to get the misses.

I don't see it as being good for us if the officials allow a physical game.

Nope. The officials last game allowed a physical game. Personally, I like when refs "let them play" a little more but it definitely doesn't favor us.

The refs in the Charlotte game let the teams play physical and we got killed and showed how soft we were. We were driving and just expecting to get the foul called. Not a great way to play.
