I live in Arlington. If the bar scene tonight is any indication Memphis will have a big crowd advantage in the Cotton Bowl tomorrow.

Penn State is gelling on offense, wonder how the defense will adjust in the second half. Memphis is not too far behind, but definitely started getting punched in the mouth hard during that 2nd quarter.

Let’s go Penn State, baby! Give us our rightful spot at the top of G5 ranking 04-rock

These on campus bowl games where they don’t repaint the field with the competing teams, but still has the host school painted end zones.......amateurish. If the Mobile Bowl moves on campus at South once the OCS is completed, I hope we paint the field properly for the bowl game.

If you have artificial turf, it's not paint. The names are inlaid and "sewn" in.

It's not the 1960's any more.

Other places can do it. This is also another reason I don’t like bowl games being played on campus.

There are some places that have "patches" at midfield and the logo areas on the 25s so they can swap them out for different things, like bowl games. But if they don't then yea, they're sewed in. It looks much better that way and keeps the ground crews from having to paint every week.

Then I hope that South builds the turf properly so that the end zones can be changed out for Senior Bowl and Mobile Bowl. As well as any other games we may host.

It is highly unlikely that the Mobile Bowl game will be played at HW stadium. The city donates a large sum to the game so they can dictate that the game be played at Ladd so they don't have to pay South for playing at our stadium. The city also gives a large sum to the Senior Bowl but the NFL may demand that the game is held at HW Stadium.

Brought a team that went 8-5 in 2017 to 2-10 in 2018 back to 8-5 in 2019. That's about what they average, except for a few 10+ win seasons in the earlier part of the decade.

I’ve been wondering where future mobile games will be played. Think it best if played at the new one.

Mobile does the field up right. Home field for South since conception of the program, and that field is very nice and set up for the bowl properly.
