obviously a huge break in the match-up with the future #1 or 2 NBA pick not being able to play in this game
because of that and home court for my Vols i see this game as a coin flip
Tennessee has gotten off to a nice start but i think if we end up in the 68 team field in March it will be quite an accomplishment
hope many of you are able to make it over for the game saturday should be a great and loud crowd if the Vols are in it until the end

UT wins this game in double digits. Quite possibly 15-20+.

Our players will be fired up! I say the game will be a toss up.

I would feel better about it if Quinones was playing. He was talking too much to have a bad game. I dont think he will be able to play though.

This was the only game I was concerned playing without Wiseman and Q. I will be very surprised if we came with a W.

Except the QB is Lomax. We still have our star tight end, Precious. We have been playing without Wiseman and Lester for a while and haven't lost. That being said I have no idea how this game will go. I could see us being down 20 and making it close. I could also see us up 20 and UTK making it close. Boogie is the key IMO.

Haven't watched 1 second of UT bball this year so I really don't have an opinion on the outcome.

But I do think that there has been a proven gameplan put forth to hinder the Tigers offense.

It is retreat, retreat and retreat.

By that I mean they will do everything they can to beat their man to the rim and force him to score over defense. Teams have been willing to give up open pullup two pointers if that means they don't get beat to the goal.

We are going to have to start taking those shots.

Another Note...

While many didn't like playing @UAB, that game and essentially the road game in Oregon will help us tremendously in this game against UT.

Im still trying to figure out who the Vawls have that can slow down Precious and Jeffries. Fulkerson? Pember?

a very good work friend is a Vol fan and he thinks Memphis has a strong shot. But my take is the Tigers lose in a close and competitive game. UT is good and very well coached. We are missing two starters and playing on the road. A Memphis win would be an upset of sorts.

I think the Vols have the advantage with us down potentially 3 starters but our young men have heart.
