ODU recruiting took a spectacular downward turn when Burden left.
As I posted on the poll, of all the candidates that were on the list, I voted for Burden for HC.

Yeah, if we want to gain on VT UVA cut off their oxygen and get guys to stay home. Burden is a good way to accomplish that.

We don't want people Wood hired before. Except Burden, who was just fired from another school.

the article I just read said that as a running back coach he did not produce a 1000 rusher and his recruiting numbers had been down. I did not fact check the article

Makes 2 of us. Besides questioning his ability, I don't like the optics of taking a failed HC and making him our HC. Much rather hire a promising coordinator.

Not really a Taggert fan, but your philosophy is misguided. FAU did just fine with Lane and LT is doing well with Holtz. FIU has improved under Butch Davis, and LSU is number 1 under Eddie O. I could go on, but I am too lazy to think of more.
