On Neuheisel's Sirius radio show, he was advocating Steve Spurrier, Jr. for ODU job.
He is now at Washington State.

Don’t read to much into these posts. Last time this guy claimed inside info he plagiarized a posted article verbatim. Some posters certainly are in the know, some are full of it.

Haven't read every post here. So if someone else raised this issue I apologize and am not trying to steal anyone's thunder.

But has anyone thought about the possible future issue who we play? For instance, would Shane Beamer be up for playing Tech in his third, fourth... and how ever many more seasons after he stays HC here?

Personally, I believe the Shane rumors to be smoke and mirrors to obfuscate the real search.

Why wouldn’t Beamer be super excited to play against VT? If he were HC he wants to play the schools that raise his profile. And I think it’s not smoke and mirrors. Not saying he is the guy but I think the possibility is in play.

Sounds like someone should ask "They", because "Anybody" and "Nobody" have no information regarding the coach.

Yea I am pretty "wired in" but I have absolutely no idea when ODU will announce the coach. Also, I have no clue who it is. The only people that know, are the people that are making the decision, and the search firm involved with finding this coach. By "they" I meant the people making the decisions. My brain isn't functioning properly.
