Beat those Crusaders today! 2-3 now! Maybe we’re turning it around...yeah, even I can’t stop myself from laughing at that. But I know the school will tout those two wins that no one else in the country even counts. Might be all we get this year.

SFA upsetting Duke. Evansville upsetting Kentucky.

You’ll be hard pressed to tell me it’s impossible for us to be competitive when smaller teams with half of even our budget can do that. Poor poor leadership.

To be fair, neither of those schools are trying to keep a G5 football program afloat. They’re smart that way.

It's gonna be very disappointing if it is exposed that Doc is a better coach than Jay. Bama was a winnable game and it wasn't close. We can't defend the perimeter.

it's that, too many stupid fouls b/c we're slow and inexperienced, and way too many turnovers...

this is a sloppy team...

The well-traveled & nationally-respected coach with an NCAA & 4 NIT appearances at UTEP & Nebraska just might’ve been better than the homeboy we’ve hired after finishing 1 game over .500 in his 5th year at Southeastern La.?

Say it ain’t so....

RE: 2019-20 basketball games
Our inability to get to the FT line has been quite the difference maker in games vs D1 teams

South Alabama outshot us 24-10 (0 in 1st half)
North Florida outshot us 14-7 (2 in 1st half)
Iowa St was 30-2 (0 in 1st half)
Gonzaga was 20-6 (4 in 1st half)
Seton Hall was 24 to 5 (0 in 1st half)
Alabama was 22 to 20 (12 in 1st half)

So in our 6 games vs D1 opponents we’ve managed 2 or less FT attempts in a half in 4 of them. As well only 1 game (Alabama) has our opponent not doubled us in attempts.

Still waiting for all those Hattiesburg people to buy the season tickets they threatened not to get if he wasn’t hired. I mean, they hadn’t been to a game since Spoon was there, but that’s beside the point, right?

RE: 2019-20 basketball games
Sad as it is, that’s easily our best showing so far. Tulane’s came in 6-1 with a largely creampuff schedule, but they beat Middle Tenn by 8 and won at Utah. I actually feel a little bit better after this one. This season just may end up being plain sh** instead of flaming sh**.

and last night we didn't shoot any FTs the entire 2nd half with 4 in the 1st half while Tulane shot 17 in the 2nd and 4 in the first. That makes 6 of our 7 games vs D1 competition that we've shot 2 or less FTs in a half.

Tulane outshot us 21 to 4 for the game
