I’m Facebook friends with her and have communicated with her in the past,I don’t get on there much anymore and I don’t post much on here but she’s a very gracious woman.

Janice was the reason I started posting on this board. She came to Roar and told everyone how mean people were on ORG. lol such a long time ago.

But that seemed crazy! How could anyone be mean to a genuine Tiger fan...I wondered. So I came over here to check this place out. It's crazy all right. lol. Take stuff personally and you're dead meat.

O well. I tried to get her to come back. Sisterhood is powerful stuff. But no luck.

Now it seems like she will never even see this thread--with all its love and appreciation of her. man. life can be sad sometimes.

I own 2 standard poodles because of missJ and her love for them. Best dogs ever. I am deeply saddened by this news. Anyone who was ugly to her can kick all the rocks!

Miss J has been one of the biggest fans of both Tiger football and basketball in the history of the school. She was very welcoming to all the female Tiger fans, including myself, who got involved in supporting either sport, on this board and in person. She traveled to so many bb games and tournaments and has been very active in Rebounders. Her family, her rescued dogs, and her Tigers were the focus of her life during the years I knew her. Her sudden illness has left me extremely sad. I pray for comfort and peace for her and her dear family as they walk this path.

I remember when we had the caravan that drove down to UAB in 2004. We all met at her place by Plantation golf course. That was the first time I met her, and made sure to say hello to her at every tailgate after that. She was always so kind. Prayers up for her.

The last I see on either her or her daughter's facebook pages was the news of her being moved to hospice soon.

Sorry to hear this.

I saw her at Memphis Neurology in Southaven on October first. She was going in one door as I was coming out another. I wish I had said hello.

I haven't seen her around in years, but every time I did see her, she was always super sweet. Continued prayers for peace for her & her daughter.
