Claybrooks kick off return for touchdown
I get the biggest kick out of watching that again.

Nobody mentioned that unlike most players who let off the gas after they cross the goal line, he continued to run at the same speed as he turned and ran back to the sidelines where the team was at. He did not slow till he got to the team. He had the afterburners on full!!!!

Somebody post the video (that knows how to do that stuff...).

Claybrooks kick off return for touchdown
We were sitting there right before kickoff, and my daughter asked if anyone has ever scored on the first kickoff. I told her it has probably happened some time before, but it’s super rare. And then it happened.

RE: Claybrooks kick off return for touchdown
One thing is clear about the Tigers kickoff returns. The returners do not stop their stride, or change direction all of a sudden. That is a killer. I see others teams do that all the time. You cannot come to a stop and then restart your stride. Head north and south, and weave thru the other team. Love it.

Was that an illegal block in the back by 2 Memphis players on #70 for Cincy that was the last man he had to beat? Lucky it was not called...

I noticed that too on the live feed. Saw there was a flag and figured that blew it for him. When they announced a sideline warning, I thought that maybe it was finally our turn to get the calls for a change.

Turned into a good day for the Tigers - Hope for a better one on Saturday!

No. They were engaged blocking in front and he then turned while they were still in contact, that is not a block in the back.

You can usually tell we've got a shot at breaking a big one by the 20 yard line.

Didn't Tony Pollard do it last year, or the year before, in one of our early season cream eclair games?

I don’t recall it happening on the opening possession, but maybe.

Yeah, I wondered. It wasn't clear in the view I had.

I didn't notice it live. But I laughed seeing him do that when I watched the Norvell show.
