Any Cincinnati fans who came to the Liberty Bowl Friday...
I would be interested in your honest estimate of the attendance figure. If the LB holds 56,000 people with the three upper tarps in place in the south endzone like they were, how many people do YOU think were in attendance? Memphis fans, shut up on this one. I don't want any outside undue influence on their opinions.

Not offering any help. just a question/comment. I'm of the opinion & it is supported by the SMU attendance that the LB capacity with NO TARPS is 58,300.

Not Cincinnati but watched on tv and with my experience with Liberty Bowl I would say you were about 70-75 percent full so around 40,000?

Correct. It's 58,318 including what is under the tarps. The tarps cover about 2000 seats.

Thanks.

Yes, please. Although that will be a VERY small sample size. I'm sure they will bring more this week.

Just checked Wiki, and you are correct. I thought the 2013 ADA construction was the last time it dropped considerably, but apparently 2016 was the year they installed the visitor's side chairbacks? I thought that was longer ago than 2016.

It was after Tiger Lane opened, which was 2015, iirc.

Thanks.

The scanners belong to the City, lol. And they hire the people. Everything the city does is screwed up.

I don't know why we bother with that. I've been to 3 games this year, and they screwed up scanning my tickets on 2 of them.

Just announce tickets sold or distributed, like everybody else. Except Navy, maybe.

My honest question still remains. My conclusion will be that nobody on this board went to the game, or did, but doesn't care to comment for some reason.

I'll be surprised if more than 1000 cincy fans show for this one.

Me and my family went to the game but got there early. We were disappointed to not find any bearcat tailgating, so we entered the stadium early to take advantage of half price beers.

You should have walked around Tiger Lane in Bearcat gear. Almost any tailgate would offer you free food and drink.

Another thing. The SMU game was on a Saturday night. The UC game was on a Friday afternoon after Thanksgiving. Big difference.

I think Saturday afternoon's game will be a lot better attended.

P.S. SMU fans did very little to help attendance, lol.
