What i believe is this program is a shell of its former self and admonishing fans for voicing legitimate criticism of our current state while telling them to just go to games is shortsighted and naive. I respect that you are as loyal as you are. I rarely missed as a game the first 20 plus years of this program. Admit i got tired of watching a program dissolve into mediocracy then into irrelevance. If that makes you a greater fan then ok, you are the greatest fan. But reality is if we ever want to retain and grow our fanbase again we have to schedule better and win more meaningful games. Ehsan is our coach and of course i want him to win but my opinion is we are going to have to make a change at some point. And the money will have to be raised through big money people and companies Not by asking Blazertalk fans to just write checks as you've suggested.

RE: Lamar
You are delusional Randy and it has nothing to do with a coaching change. Go suck an egg.

I actually agree with you 100%. I would never root against the team but a coaching change has been needed for two years.

(narrator mentions that rooting against a coach is the same thing as rooting against the team.)

No one is rooting against the coach. IMO the reason this board has become insufferable anytime someone offers valid criticism of the coach or the program in general they are labeled as being a "fake fan."

At the same time, if someone offers anything positive, they’re labeled as being happy with the overall state of the program (basketball)

In reality, I think almost everybody on this board is pretty much in the same page...but for some reason, folks just need to argue

I think everyone is generally pissed about where the program is and we just want to argue lol...

If Ehsan doesn’t make a deep NIT run or make the big dance, he should be gone PERIOD. 5 years of sub mediocrity is well past enough. The team has looked better than expected! If we can continue to gel and improve the above noted achievements are not impossible.

RE: Lamar
Arguing is fun. It keeps the threads going. Otherwise we’d have nothing to talk about.
