Dude, STFU! My comment was as follows:
Quote:Dude, he's a D congressman from CA. He's going nowhere until he decides to.
And he agreed with that as well. I was only commenting that Republican congressman in deep red states and districts will keep getting elected time and time again...and the numbers back that up as almost all reps win re-election.
He then went off into this tangent about crime-ridden nonsense that I was in no way commenting on or about, so I don't need to address it as I never made that claim anywhere.
I know you don't care, but stay out of arguments where you don't what the **** you're talking about.
Obviously because you're deflecting even again, I DO know what I'm talking about.
Although he didn't say so at first, it's clear to everyone that he no longer wishes to visit places like LA, SF, Bal, Det and Chi because he likens them to 3rd world countries and war zones. While perhaps hyperbolic, it does reflect the general decline in safety and living standards for the poor in parts of those places. You insisted that there were red states where this was also true by some definition. We're still waiting on an example of a strong/solid red state/district where crime, homelessness and decay remotely resemble those areas. SInce you think it's obvious, there should be easy examples of red districts where human feces on the streets, homelessness or gun and gang violence is comparable to these areas.
Whether you would agree that these areas meet the definition of a 3rd world country or war zone makes no difference to his point... You're merely using it to avoid supporting your claim that there were red states/districts that are as bad as these blue ones.
I suspect you'll now continue to avoid supporting your claim and instead try and claim that I'm denying that there are any bad red states/districts. Obviously you think there are some pretty bad red states.
By this point, I think we're all at least curious as to where you think those places might be and why.
Personally, I'm interested in
a) what areas you think are as 'red' as those areas are 'blue' and
b) by what definitions you think those places are 'bad'.
You don't remotely have to agree that they are comparable to 3rd world war zones in order to do that.
