All of this is fun to speculate about but the most likely scenario is this:
Ohio State runs the table.
Clemson runs the table.
L.S.U. runs the table.
Georgia picks up a 2nd loss.
Penn State picks up a 2nd loss.
Minnesota picks up a 2nd loss.
Oregon and Utah meet in the PAC CCG and the winner gets the 4th slot.
Oklahoma goes to the Sugar Bowl to play Alabama and the big storyline is Hurts against his old team.
Florida heads to the Orange Bowl to play Virginia Tech
Penn State plays the Utah/Oregon loser in the Rose Bowl.
The rest of the Bowls clamor for Auburn, Minnesota, Michigan, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Wisconsin because after those the rest really stink this year. And those will be the schools that will travel well.
PAC is Utah / Oregon and not much else.
Big 12 will be Oklahoma and Baylor and Baylor isn't a big draw and Texas already has 4 losses.
I pity bowls with tie ins to the ACC. With Clemson in the CFP and Va Tech likely committed to the Orange who else is there?
