Imo he deserves one year to get it together, but that means very little nowadays. If he's canned I wonder if he retires, goes to announcing, takes a G5 job ala Frank Solich, or something else.

OU gets away with pass interference on two point conversion with 24 seconds left (getting an interception). If they get the onsides quick they win 42-41 with lots of help from Big 12 refs. If QB hadn't lofted the ball so much it would have been good even with the PI.

SDSU trailed 17-10 with 3:46 left in the 4th quarter, and had a 4th and 6 at the Nevada 27. They kicked a FG instead of going for the first down, and lost the game 17-13.

If they have no confidence in their offense on a 4th and 6, why would they have any confidence in their offense to drive down the field? You are right, makes no sense....

"Favorites" are based on what Vegas thinks the public thinks - and the public sees "App State" and "South Carolina" and thinks "SEC vs whatever" and thinks the SEC team is naturally better.

But the computers said App State should win, which they did. Nothing unexpected about it to anyone who has followed the season. App State is a good team, SC is not.
