App may have shot themselves in the foot. Up by 5 and when they receive the punt the punt returner catches the ball on the 3 yard line and drops to a knee to down the ball. I guess he doesn't understand the new punt/kickoff rule because App has the ball on the 3 yard line instead of the 25 if he would have called for a fair catch. They go 3 and out and punt back USC. Now USC has a short field to score.

I am assuming the offensive holding penalty had to be downfield on a DB

Very true. I like the idea of AFA in the AAC. I would also like to see a good BKB school added such as VCU, Dayton, Chicago Lyola or St. Louis U.

Nothing against App St. I just have a hard time believing they can sustain their resent success in the AAC.

The AAC is no cake walk and last thing this league needs is another nose dive of a program... cough... uconn... cough.

Flavor of the months programs aren't the answer.
