I'd guess it was 95% full.

It was 100% full on tv until the 3rd quarter.

That’s exactly what I saw.

That was the most Tiger fans/Memphians to ever witness a Tiger sports team in the entire history of the world. It was amazing, and SMU didn't bring squat, I am sure that Southern brought more fans to the Liberty Bowl than SMU did.

When are they going to fix their scanners? I counted 75,000 easy.

The scanners in theory should be a non issue. They are only an issue because we still idiotically don't use tickets sold to report attendance.

Reported attendance should be a mouse click to tickets sold and then add 5k for the band, concessions, players, refs, mascots, etc like everyone else does.

This has as much to do with a lack of a consistent pass rush as it does the secondary. To me, this has been one of the biggest issues with the defense over the course of the season.

So, whatever. Our stadium was at least 95% filled.

PS, ESPN claims Auburn's stadium seats 67,000 but they reported 85,000 in attendance.

Jordan-Hare seats 87,451 & we would love to have their level of support.

I tried to get a good panoramic view from my seats. This is what I came up with:

45,000 consistently puts you in very good company. Anything over that is upper echelon football. I used to report on the numbers every year, but got lazy.

I wonder how big last night (yesterday and last week in general) will end up being for our football attendance and fanbase as a whole.

59,507* lady scanning tickets only scanned 3 of our 4 tickets before waving is through. I jest but they did a really good job at our gate getting everyone through in a timely manner.

I thought it looked almost full early, except little areas beside the East side skyboxes, but then got empty up high partway through the 3rd. Heck, I can't blame them, I got tired of watching after 3 hours too, especially us giving up 3rd Down after 3rd Down all night.
I didn't get tired. Maybe the 54 points we scored had something to do with it.

Yesterday was one of the longest days I've had in recent and not so recent memory and I was fine until I got home after midnight. Today was the day I paid for it though, ouch. I've actually lost my voice, all I can do is croak and then half whisper half choke a word out, crazy. I've never done that at any event before. Hell, I'm still stoked!
