This was totally predictable. OU would have been raked over the coals had any of the students been hurt, or if the horses had been hurt.

They will come back in the Spring with a re-designed Schooner that has a much wider wheel-base and isn't nearly as top-heavy. With instructions to drive it slower and no sharp turns.

My wife was pointing out how everyone was running to check the schooner and the cowboys who got thrown off. Nobody paid any attention (at first) to the girl who got thrown furthest from the schooner.

They probably would only have been attacked if the horses had been hurt. PETA would be all over them, calling for a boycott of the state.

Now that's a shame ... especially as any 'cowboys' would be people jumping on a bandwagon and not real cowpokes, who support Oklahoma State.
