Miami-Ohio predictions
If Miami-Ohio has an option game, the Reds will pull it out early and often and NIU will still have no clue on how to stop it. The NIU offense will still click but it will not score every time it touches the ball like it did in the second half of the last game.
NIU 34, Miami 31
Revenge factor plays a role...

Then, I'm sorry, but I can't post my prediction. I follow the rules and only post on official threads.

This will be close. Miami was manhandling WMU until that pick 6.

23-16 NIU

23-16 NIU

It was 6-0 before the pick six. The final score was 38-16.

Miami 34-17. Huskies D too injured and offense does not seem capable of exploding. Miami has a very good roster. They have had a tough schedule like we have had. This is a big game for Miami staff if they go to 5 losses employment becomes an issue.

It was 6-0 before the pick six. The final score was 38-16.

I take it you didn't watch the game....prior to the pick 6 with 6 minutes left in the half, Miami completely dominated WMU. 160 yards to 80. WMU flipped that game because of Miami's the true freshman QB(3 ints). The score is not indicative of the play. Miami still out gained WMU and had more 1st downs.

RE: Miami-Ohio predictions
Let's go Huskies!! This is a BIG game. Obviously beating Ohio was big for a multitude of reasons, but maintaining some momentum while "stacking" MAC wins would be HUGE for Coach Hammock and the squad. I feel relatively good about this game despite some key injuries to our defense. As coach says, next man up!

NIU 34
Miami 27

BEAT MIAMI!!!!!

AJD listed as a starter on this week's depth chart, for what that's worth. Hammock likes to be sneaky.

We'll see on Saturday, but hopefully he does start/play.

If he plays and IF he is effective I like our chances on Sat. He did not look good coming off the field last Sat.

Also, Tears not listed as a starter. I don't think he caught a pass last game either.

If the depth chart is any indication, NIU may be going more Jumbo this week.

That doesn't seem like too bad of an idea. Brinkman and Crawford have made some huge plays and have been very reliable so far.

Sounds like a great idea. Brinkman and Crawford may be the most consistent (along with Tucker) pass catchers on the team, plus the additional large body helps the run-block game making it more difficult on opposing Defenses.

Also, it can help BALANCE the Offensive attack to extend drives, drain clock and keep the Defense off the field and fresh, especially important at a time when injuries are hitting hard.

The NIU momentum continues after the Ohio win ...NIU 27 Miami 21. This team has been tested and they have bounced off of the bottom and are now on the way up. Go Huskies ( I will be home and sober this week instead of drinking and on Clearwater Beach like last week). Go Huskies!!

RE: Miami-Ohio predictions
Tucker, Brinkman and Crawford are the only receivers on this team that I would have any confidence in the catch being made. Tears and Richie are inconsistent and I'd stay away from Robinson completely.
