If you are a cord cutter, do you still have internet? If you have internet coming into your home, have you really cut the cord?

Yes, as the term is for cable and satellite customers. How many people do you know without the internet?

No one...
That’s my point.
My spectrum internet alone is $70.00. If I got rid of cable I would still need to pay for a service to pickup the ESPN’s, sports etc. YouTube TV is $50.00 a month. That’s $120 for 70 stations. I pay $120 now for internet and 125 channels. Just trying to see the allure of cable cutting.

Unless I wanted to get AT&T internet. They can’t match the speed I get with Spectrum. Presently I have two Firesticks streaming movies, 6 cell phones and 6 iPads in the house all using my internet. Never have any problems.
I know I’m lucky because I hear the Spectrum horror stories from friends. The AT&T sales rep came through the neighborhood telling me they could beat Spectrum. I did a speed test with her standing in my living room and her exact words, “we can’t beat that, I wouldn’t switch either”

Like you, I’ve never had any issues with Spectrum even though I heard the horror stories as well.

That's my situation as well - with the cost of internet in my area, cutting thr cord while still getting the channels i want doesn't save me money over cable. But for some it does.
Anyway, this thread is about games you can get for free, that is, not paying anything on top of the cost of your internet itself, so OTA plus free streaming.

Not a bad lineup, but this is a great weekend so you miss some big games all day, including LSU vs Florida.

The allure would be for people who can get internet that is appropriate for them at terms that make it more appealing than that.
Obviously the cable company is going to price internet-alone at prices that makes cutting the cord on their subscription TV services less attractive than if they offered internet service at a single flat rate.

Thats the situation i am in. My cable company has a near monopoly on internet service in my area, so if i cut the cord, dropped their cable tv, they would boost the price of my internet such that it would wipe out the savings from cutting, so no sense in cutting.

So there is no landline service in your area to get high speed internet like AT&T or some other landline carrier? Every household even today has wiring for traditional phone but can use DSL or in some cases, fiber.

I don't have Cable, Satellite, nor live streaming like sling. So yes I cut the cord. I do have internet, and Hulu. Total internet and Hulu cost is $40 per month plus taxes.
