Nice. Looks like another lefty. I'll admit I wasn't too excited watching the highlight clip on verbal commits then I saw it was from 2016. Below is a more recent highlight. Seems like he's lanky with some nice moves around the basket. Looks like athleticism doesn't jump out in the highlights, more of a Kyle Anderson type game... But in my eyes that's not an insult. Held offers from OU, BG, and Toledo as well. Always nice to win a recruiting battle with in stste MAC rivals for an Ohio kid.

Thanks for clarifying that, I thought the same thing. Unimpressed because he looked like a 9th grader beating 8th graders inside. Newer video much better, hopefully he continues to improve facing the basket since he’s undersized.

Looks like the one I posted was his Soph year highlights. Here's a clip from his Jr year. Like like a more aggressive slasher and better ball handler in this one. Definitely likes to finsh with the left.

coach sendy & his staff do a darn good job or recruiting! :)

each year they just reload..

look forward to seeing all the new players.. especially beck

look forward to encore performances from booman, whittington & anthony roberts 02-13-banana

look forward to seeing what pippen looks like after a year off.

gotta think bainbridge & bennett will redshirt (one to bulk-up & the other to shed a few pounds.)

Quick thing I wanted to mention about the Davis commitment. Seems like every year there are a handful of the top Ohio kids that show up on our offer list over the summer as well as most of the other Ohio schools. Then a few months later they commit elsewhere. I think it's a real good sign for the program that he was offered a while back and was offered by most of Ohio and after taking time still chose us. Also I saw he averaged 27.5 ppg and 11.5 rpg last year and is a candidate for Ohio's Mr Basketball this year. This is a BIG get.

Great call.He was offered by every school and we kept recruiting until we got him. My friend says he can score in a variety of ways and even though he averages a lot of points he lets the game come to him.

He does. I watched all the most recent clips and while most of the other players on the floor were one-way streets when they got the ball and were going to take a shot no matter how good or bad it was, Davis was smooth and in control and also the dominant player on the floor. There were times he was triple-teamed he had no problem finding the open man and delivering the ball. The more I watched, the more impressed I was.
