College Football Week 4
Just watched UCF pull in front of Pitt at Pitt on a punt return for a TD. Made me flash back to Mardy.
UCF looked horrible in the first quarter, but now appear to have taken the lead for good.

UCF is showing they are still cheap shot artists, but this time penalties are getting called on them.
Pitt just got themselves back into the game thanks to a lot of free yardage.

RE: College Football Week 4
I’m no huge UCF fan but I don’t like the comments that the announcers are making. The Power 5 views themselves as the founders and a Group of 5 team has to prove themselves more? Stop! That is ridiculous.
Depending on how the season plays out, if they are undefeated and others are at one loss you have to at least give a long hard look at them in the CFB Playoff. Same for UC if they would have went undefeated, IMO. I know UC played a tougher schedule, but it’s not UCF’s fault that Pitt and Stanford may end up having a down year.
The American may not be P5, but it continues to show that the top half of the league can play with the P5.

I said in the OSU UC game thread that people were underestimating OSU and in turn underestimating our own team. OSU is legit this year and can play with anyone in the country.

if that's not the dumbest take i've ever heard related to p5 - g5 it's top 3, and analogies go, it makes little to no sense.

To me, it just shows the lengths that the Power 5, and those associated with the Power 5, will go to keep Group of 5 teams out of the party. It makes me root for UCF more, but I guess that helps UC’s profile in a sense.

UCF deserved to lose that game.
Just sucks that they lost to an ACC team and especially to Pitt since they recruit in Ohio

Was hoping it was UC that broke the UCF streak :(
At least we can stop hearing about it now, and hopefully prove that we are the new class of the American.

Yea, they made a lot of mistakes.
They also had 2 TD’s where the WR seemingly could have gotten his feet down inbounds and seemed to me he lost track of how close he was to the sideline.
I do find it a bit amusing that it was the P5 team that needed to trick play to pull out the win.

if you are outside the p5 and want to be taken seriously in the playoff conversation you cannot lose, let alone lose to Pitt.

UCF! You had one job. Beat a middlin' ACC team on the road. Temple also loses to Buffalo! Not a good look for the mighty AAC. Wait, HOLD THE PHONE! THIS JUST IN!
SMU 41
#25 TCU 38
SMU is now 4-0 and the class of the AAC so far. Who'da thunk!

I won't get smoked by Wisconsin! Right? Right?!
Wisky 35
Mich 14
This game was over at the half. Jimbo will be gone after this season if not before. Les Miles to Michigan?

What I think hurts the most is we will not get the NY6 bowl game now with a AAC team. Boise State has a cake walk for a season and will go to the NY6 bowl game now.

I agree they are in the driver's seat for now but I don't believe they will finish the season without a loss. Heck, I didn't pick them to win the MWC Chip. They still have road games at BYU and Utah St.
