UH administration has stated it'll fire coaches for going 8-4, what is their policy for 4-8 seasons?

A source tells me that the 2nd half issues have mostly been the result of the team collectively hitting a caffeine crash. Apparently Dana's been spiking the players water with Red Bull since the OU loss. Bold strategy. Certainly explains the fast starts and sudden fatigue in the 2nd half. May also explain some of the early false starts.

I doubt Houston can find another Tom Herman any time soon. There's not many of those guys around. UH may be firing their way into dark times.

We wont be able to fire the guy for three years. His buyout is too steep. I just thought I'd get ahead of the curve by making this thread.

In all seriousness he still deserves to bring in his players but blowing halftime leads goes beyond the players. Dana has been outcoached two games in a row. I just dont see much room for improvement (especially this year). This could be the worst UH season in a while and it really wasnt supposed to be.

Three years is plenty of time for Art Briles to rehab his image.

4 games in 19 days; 3 consecutive games on a short week. Just sayin'...

Houston will be fine, this year will be a growing year with a new coach. Way to much talent on that team to be down long.

this guy is working with the same offense and better defense than last year and is doing worst than applebottoms. at least last year houstons wheels didn't come off until after king got hurt.
the guy is in over his head.

not to mention he is being paid top dollar and has one of the largest pool of money for assistant coaches to work with. instead of hiring talent he just brang along his old drinking buddies minus the defense of course. which i still like.

With the King news UH will be lucky to get to four wins. Could be the worst year since Briles started the rebuild.
