The ones posting in this thread have never left. I post here occasionally but I am not a fanatical message board person. (I have a life outside the internet) I read this forum, but if I do not have anything constructive to add, I do not post anything here or on RP.

The reason others do not post here has nothing to do with wins and losses, but their perceived treatment of Cajun posters by the mods, which has not been represented by a Cajun fan in some time. That does not bother me.

Message board politics, what can you do?

I hope you all come back. Will make this a more lively place. Arkansas State fans seem to have checked out with the monotony of winning 8 games a year.

They won’t come back.

Well hopefully they at least start showing up to games again. You have a program with facilities and commitment from the university in the football program that deserves it.

I’m not sure you understand how much damage Hudspeth did to this program. We have 35 years worth of fans that were deliberately pushed towards LSU athletics by the previous University Admin. Hudspeth excited the base and started to bring a lot of the 28-40 crowd back into the mix. He was building something here then the wheels fell off.

Sanctions, arrest, F Donald Trump locker room video, Hud’s Comments calling supporters hypocrites for being outraged about the video and not by Trump. Simply put, Hudspeth destroyed everything he worked to build the first 4 years here.

If you don’t know our culture it’s hard to explain, we are welcoming to a fault. Loyal to a fault as long as you don’t insult us, cross us or do us wrong. I would assume the Appalachia’s are similar.

The Cajuns fans felt the same treatment here. Allowing non conference programs to continuously bash our branding efforts. Not supported by SBC members. This board as a whole sided with ULM, when their branding efforts all along was ULM. It didn’t interfere nor effect ULM at all. The lack of support from moderators and members of the forum drove the casual Cajun posters away from this site.

We never were incredibly active on here to begin with. Plus, we're going through enough hell with last year having sucked a lot of the air out of the place, and then all the issues this year making things worse.

The League opener at Troy next week is probably going to be a make or break moment for us in terms of what type of year this turns out to be.

And Message Board politics? Huh? I've been wanting to add a new mod for a while, but yeah, that's a bridge not worth crossing.
