Coach Saban made the comment that “no one will play us”. Not sure we would win, but hope our new AD heard that and will work on a home and home. Would fill up the Liberty Bowl for sure and probably get us a night game instead of 11 am.

Iowa is in top 25 much of the time and play at 11 am more than we do. They fill the stadium vs FCS teams.

He's talking about no P5 schools will play them. And the reason is they rarely if ever have a true road game OOC. Even on a "neutral" field, it is in the southeast.

he was referring to P5 teams. He said that multiple times. He said if he could he would have a schedule of nothing but P5 teams. So what he said has no bearing on us in any way at this point. Even then, I am willing to bet he is saying "buy games" not home and homes... "We can't get p5 teams to play buy games against us" would have been closer to what he was wanting to say.

RE: Alabama
When was Bama's last true road OOC game vs. a P5. (Edit, 2011).

Florida hasn't played a road OOC game outside the state of Florida since 1991 (lost to Syracuse). The last road OOC game outside of the state they won was in 1989 vs....Memphis State.

RE: Alabama
I will say that Saban has actually strayed from his built in Playoff formula of P5 game at neutral site, two G5s at home and a FCS the week before Auburn. He has scheduled road games AT ND and Texas.

With that said, if you believe his line... you are an idiot. They won't play just anyone, not even a P5 on the road. It simply won't happen.
