Grambling and LaTech are located just 5 miles apart, have each been playing football for over 90 years, and yet have met just two times, counting this past Saturday. The other time was in 2000, a 20-6 LT win as well. A common situation with an HBCU and a HWCU in the same town.

There's really no good reason for them not to play more often. Grambling is one of the best HBCUs, and LaTech isn't exactly LSU, so it's not a mega-mistmatch on paper.

I didn't realize that this is NAIA Indiana Wesleyan's 2nd year in football and Butler needed OT to win.
IWU has been a power in basketball, and they have invested now in football.
Looks like the facilities "arms race" has reached the NAIA.
