Have to rewatch and see is it talent or Fuqua's scheme. I know what I am leaning towards already.
Having said that, best Gameday experience we have ever had. Definetely don't have many if any complaints for GSU Athletics this week.

I think the staff gameplanned all week to stop the run....dared them to throw.
Well, Furman's young QB is not only a runner, but a great passer with even greater poise. They will score 40 points every SoCon game this year.
Having a backup LB and CB starting the entire game wasnt ideal. I can remember few ugly plays off the top of my head.
Ex.) Backup CB was bit late his coverage, which allowed a long TD down the middle; the backup LB sat down right in the middle as the QB spy, yet he was somehow too slow when Furman's slippery QB just ran by him without much difficulty.
Yeah but they didn't do well VS the run either.

true, but it wasn't the scheme imo. There were guys in the right places to prevent the long gains. They just didn't make the tackles.

It’s that victim complex of theirs
The original comments were silly and unnecessary and were, as noted, from one fan, but nobody on this board has displayed more of a victim complex than you in the past. “Why is everyone mean to me on here and on Twitter after I publicly posted inflammatory comments about their fanbase that I really didn’t mean for them to see? Why won’t they just stop dishing it out even after I dished it out to start with? Stop reading the mean things I said and being mean in return, I just can’t handle it ”

can we be on the same side during the OOC part? Georgia Southern fans should be happy that Georgia State collected a SEC scalp and didn't lose to FCS

Down the line option pitch. As old as the pyramids. If you're in the right place there is no play.

I thought you were alluding to those painful 10yd gains right through the A gap because some black jersey whiffed on the tackle at the LoS. I'll probably watch the game again tonight to see about those option pitches. I don't doubt you that we were outraced to the perimeter couple times

There’s a difference between smack talk and death threats
Welcome back to the board. I notice you’re absent unless you have something to gloat about, so glad to see you back
A simple welcome back would have sufficed ...lol

Death threats are wrong and should be reported to the social media platform they were sent through and probably to the authorities as well. Anyone who makes a death threat over sports fandom is an utter POS. Nobody deserves it over what you’d call “smack talk.”
That said...I’ve talked some smack and never has anyone threatened my life on social media or the internet. Might want to rethink how you’re engaging in “smack talk” on the internet if that’s happening to you.
Also, nobody here has ever threatened anyone’s life and that’s the only place I talk about Sun Belt football other than Panthertalk.
Lesson here is don’t be an uber-dick on Twitter and people won’t be even bigger dicks to you.

RE: GSU vs Furman
Is there a limit on how many night games that a team can host per season? Why don't we have 7:00pm kickoff for every home game???
night game atmosphere @ GSU Stadium >>>>>> day game @ GSUS
I hate noon kickoff. college students don't even wake up before noon on Saturdays. clubs around ATL close like 4-5am. don't even get home until 6am Saturday morning

Mistake going there. For the most part, the most haterish fans of theirs stay over on that board and don’t come here as much. These Southern fans are pretty good folk.

Welcome back to the board. I notice you’re absent unless you have something to gloat about, so glad to see you back
I'm not overly surprised you've had death threats before, but damn. Maybe take a look at what you do that might instigate that type of response?
If your response to me saying “lol Georgia State sux” is “you and your family better pray I don’t find you” (an actual message I received), then you have seriously major issues you need to resolve.
I’ve interacted with and read posts from thousands of fans on sports message boards (ACC, SEC, all kinds) for two decades now. And the only poster I have ever heard complaining on one of these message boards of getting death threats is you. Ever.
By the way, everyone thinks that sucks and those people should be kicked off their social media. But if you never heard from these people again and it seems to have blown over quite a while ago, perhaps even years ago, why keep crying about it on here? Who has the victim complex again?
By the way, I’ve personally seen you take it further than just “Georgia State sux,” and you know it. You’ve been pretty good at inflaming the situation and provoking, in the past. It was always great when your own fanbase would call you out for it. Seems like you’ve matured. Good for you.
