If 42-31 in the 4th quarter isnt close, what would you call 38-0 in the fourth quarter? Asking for a friend.

Serious question for the rest of the C-USA board. How do you put up with this guy?

Ok dude, I watched the whole game.

It was 42-17 at the end of the 3rd quarter when Jalen Hurt was pulled.

Hurt had over 500 yards by himself more than the whole Houston offense including all the trash yards in the 4th when OU 2/3 string players were in.
OU had almost 700 yards of offense.

You obviously didnt watch the game because Hurt was playing in the 4th quarter. OU was very much trying to put it on us even in the 4th which is why they scored with two minutes to go. Look we got beat by a superior team, no doubt, but you're trying to make it sound worse than it was. Some of your comments are just funny because they more accurately describe the UT-LT game than our game.

Because it was worse than it was... at one point y’all were losing by 25 points at the end of the third...

This is classic Dogs'Ass posting.
He still has NEVER mentioned Memphis' win over Mississippi. Here on post #43 he has omitted the Cincinnati over UCLA win, but at least he previously related that fact. No context - that the four contract-bowl-conference teams to beat the AAC were ranked (Massey Composite) #5, #22, #24, #37.

Nice week for the mwc. Not, in fact, a disastrous week for the AAC. Week 1 of the 2019 college football season is a blip on the radar screen now that we are in the sixth season of the CFP era and of the AAC advancing the P6 strategic plan with an eye on goal dates another six years out.

You know how I know "P6" information campaign is working? #1, ESPN announcers used it positively over the weekend. #2 Y'all over here whining about it like little ******s.

Somehow, I just don't care about this. Let's each school just take our of its own schedule. Let's have every other week better than Week 1.

The thing about playing the P5 is that there is a HUGE dropoff between Wisky and OU and the teams losing to AAC and MWC. For instance, FSU is a much better win than Tennessee.

Yes I agree, the Sunbelt Georgia State win over Tennessee was much more impressive than any AAC wins.

Sunbelt P6? maybe so

If you believe pre-season rankings, or end-of-last-year results, my vote for the best of those wins would be Missouri. Massey Composite had them #21 after finishing the season #24 at 8-5(4-4).
Tennessee hasn't had a winning season since 2016, finished last year #62 and got a pre-season bump to #52.
That put Tennessee just behind FSU, who got MORE of a pre-season bump from #70 end of 2018 to #50
The argument for putting GSU's or BSU's wins over the Cowboys is that Wyoming was at home instead of going into the "P5" stadium and coming out with the scalp.

All three are better than AAC's two wins

Not a great outing—-but with a new staff, new offense, and new defense—going against the #4 team in the nation on the road—-it wasn’t as bad as it could have been.

Moral victories in Week 1 for both of us. I am hoping the Rice improvement is real and the future Bayou Bucket games will be competitive.

Right... and then we scored twice to cut the lead to 11 with 2 minutes to go. OU scored a TD with a minute something on the clock to go up by 18. I'd say the garbage time points basically evened out.

The MWC had a better week than the AAC, but strategically they are in a tough position. Like swimming against the tide, it is difficult to overcome less money and less media exposure compared to the AAC - especially when Boise takes a disproportional share of MWC resources.
